Another issue that i encountered was the minutes that one of the group members produced about our final meeting. The issue with the minutes was that they were produced to a very low standard.

This was a straight forward day to day issue as it was resovled on the day that the minutes were distributed.

I dealt with this issue by asking the group member to reproduce the minutes but to a higher level of quality as it could effect the groups grade.
4. How did my contribution affect others and vice versa
My contribution affected other members of my group as it meant that they were able to have a higher quality typed up minutes.
5. Discuss whether it was a Long/Short term issue and what will be done about this
This was a short term issue because it was sorted within one day. To fix this issue i asked kindly for the group member to reproduce the minutes document.

Trouble sticking to GANT chart
1. Discussion of the issue
Another issue that i have encountered throughout this unit is sticking to the time that i have allocated to each task in my Gant Chart. This was because i had fallen behind on the dates set on other tasks due to events out of my control and the overall poor quality of my Gant Chart.
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This was complex issue, this was because it meant that i was behind course on my unit and could lead to me not completing my unit on the correct deadline set.
3. Discuss how you have dealt with issues and problems
To deal with this issue i had to work even harder and quicker than i was currently working at so that i could complete tasks in less time that i had allocated to the tasks previously, this would help me to get back on track and would allow me to meet the deadline.
4. How did my contribution affect others and vice versa

5. Discuss whether it was a Long/Short term issue and what will be done about this
This was a long term issue because it continued throughout the whole unit and would cause me to be behind on several tasks. To combat this issue i will work much faster so that i could complete the work on time.

Issues creating Gant Chart

Another issue that i encountered was that when i was creating the Gant Chart I was faced with several problems with creating the Gant Chart, inserting dates into the Gant Chart and linking the dates.
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This was a very complex day to issue because it meant that the Gant Chart i produced was of a very poor quality, this was because every time i entered a date it moved tasks into the wrong areas and resulted in me starting the Gant Chart from scratch on more than 5 occasions.
3. Discuss how you have dealt with issues and problems
To deal with this problem i had to keep persevering and just tried to complete the Gant Chart to the best of my ability, this resulted in a poor final Gant Chart because of the problems i encountered which were persistent throughout.

This was a long term issue because the Gant Chart could not be fixed and i just had to settle for the poor Gant Chart that i had produced.

Unit Guide being incorrect in places
1. Discussion of the issue
Another issue that i encountered was that the Unit Guide we was given was found to have some incorrect information on it, this issue had a dramatic affect on me and my fellow class mates as it meant that some pieces of work had to be amended.
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This was a complex issue that did only last a matter of days, this was because i went back and corrected the affected areas straight away which only took a number of days.
3. Discuss how you have dealt with issues and problems
To deal with this issue i went back to the pieces of work that needed to be amended to fit in with the new correct client brief, this ensured that there was no incorrect areas in my project.
4. How did my contribution affect others and vice versa
This affected all of my class mates because we were all following the incorrect unit guide which we all followed carefully.

Informed of important meeting at very last minute
1. Discussion of the issue
On the very last day of term before the Easter break, we was told about an extremely important meeting that must take place before we broke up to achieve high marks for a section of the unit. This came as a shock to all of us because we was rushing around trying to collect all of our documents ready for the half term break so that we could complete the work over Easter holiday
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This issue was a complex issue, this was because today would be our only opportunity to have this meeting as we would not all be back together for another two and a half weeks, which is when the final deadline for the unit is.

To deal with this issue we had to quickly have a very short meeting in which we could discuss what needed to be discussed and then we could produce all the necessary documents for this meeting.

My contribution affected others and vice versa as all of the members of my group took part in the meeting, this was a necessary requirement as we had to come together to conclude the group work with this meeting.

This was a short term issue as we dealt with this issue by conducting the meeting on that final day before half term holidays started.
Network Problems
1. Discussion of the issue
Another issue that i faced was Network problems whilst at college, the issue itself was that i could not access the Internet on my computer as i was 'Banned' for no specific reason, this had to be fixed by technicians on several occasions.
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This was a very complex issue as it was something that was out of my hands and took an external party to fix the issue. This problem resulted in me losing valuable time that i could have been using to complete areas such as my blog.
3. Discuss how you have dealt with issues and problems
To deal with this issue the I.C.T technicians had to be called to fix this problem on several occasions. This resulted in me being behind on the schedule of my GANT chart and time plan.

This was a medium to long term issue because this happened on several occasions and was something that i could not fix myself.
Cannot create website at home
1. Discussion of the issue
An issue that caused large amounts of problems for me when trying to complete my website was that I could not create the website when i was at home, this is because i did not have the software needed to create the website whilst at home.
2. What type of issue was it (Straight forward day to day/Complex day to day issue)
This was a very complex issue, this is because this meant that i was limited to only completeing the website when i was in college as the college computers had the software required,

To deal with this problem I had to ensure that I used my time wisely whilst in college as this was the only time in which i was able to build my website.

this was a long term issue because it carried on throughout the whole of the production stage of my website which was over a period of several weeks. There is nothing that i could do to fix this problem because it would mean that i would have to buy the software so that i could use at home which would have been very expensive.
